There is, and it looks to have an Oriental spin on things too. Expect to see other mythical creatures including a dragon and the flaming phoenix.
Expect a stunning design as well
There are some 3D effects in action here, although every aspect of the design is impressive. The background sets the tone for the slot, but the action on the reels sees all the creatures moving around a little.
How to play Pixiu
There are just three reels here, which might come as a surprise, although the game uses a 3 x 3 format. It feels far bigger than it is, too. There are also three progressive jackpots here, each individually named above the reels.
You may be surprised to see there is no wild here, although there is a bonus symbol involved. This is the most important one of all, appearing in the guise of some Chinese coins – the ones with the square hole in the middle. You can guess these are connected to a feature we’ll come to shortly.

Just five here, but then we do only have three reels in play.

When we loaded the game, we noticed the default was set to $4. This can go a lot higher, reaching $250 at most. If you adjust downward, the smallest wager is a mere 10 cents.

Be aware of the different game levels in action
You begin on Level 1, which stays in action through the first 25 spins. From then until the 50th spin, you are on Level 2. Level 3 lasts from the 51st to the 75th spin, and from that point you are on Level 4.
There are changes that occur each time you attain a new level. Prizes become larger while the free spin count increases too. On Level 1 you would receive 10 spins while at Level 4 the count maxes out at 25 spins.
You should also be aware of the Feature Selector part of the game. Finding three scattered Chinese coins opens this feature. You can choose from a prize, the free spin feature, or a bonus feature.
The bonus is called Jade & Gold. You’ll see four jade coins and four gold ones, and you must simply pick one to see what happens. Try and find a prize if you can – otherwise your coin turns to stone and the bonus finishes…

It depends which level you’ve reached, so you can see there is more potential here whenever you reach a new level.
